2011 in pictures

I have always liked to look back at the year's events to evaluate how well or great my year had turned out - if I had accomplished my goals.

That too, I try not to dwell too much in the past, as the past does not determine your future. Nor should we live in the future, telling ourselves we will only be happy when we are so and so, or when we have this and that. Rather, live life at its present- and as I just realized with Cynthia today, we would never truly know if this New Year's would be our last! Morbid I know, but lets embrace impermanence.

So yea, the year in pictures - though not all, but at least a memorable few!

Finally, went to Zoukout!

Enjoyed my CNY reunion dinner with family!!!!!


Turned vegetarian. Eggs do have feelings too!


Celebrated CNY with my family without being worried about my roster


Discovered that.. mermaids DO exist!


Moved to a new place, with new housemates!

Last days of 2011

Life's been pretty good of late. I am in the final days of my long break from work, come next week, it's back to the 9-5 routine for me!

For now, I am definitely enjoying the precious time home!

My X'mas E-Card 2011

Haha. So here's the video I was writing about in the earlier post!

X'mas 2011

Christmas seem to have just slipped by this year, and now, we are amidst the last week of 2011!!

First, the days before were spent in a crazy mad rush shopping for presents, and I even found this App thing that would enable me to record my own X'mas e-cards! What fun I had (hmmm i think in retrospect, my friends did too) laughing at my video!

The eve itself, was a very gezellig (read: cosy) affair:

Boo and En Hui join mum and myself at Chilli's, X'mas eve. The night was filled with happy chatter, great food kudos to the chef at Chilli's, and much laughter. And I even managed to squeeze in a quick chat with Gian who's happily enjoying his X'mas in Rome. Pa couldn't come home as he has to work, apparently X'mas is not a public holiday in Thailand ( boooo!) and Lin is in Sydney!

Cynthia, who's alone this year was going to join us too, but I think she got shy about it last minute, so it was a no go! We even took Muffin and Sugar to the park:












It's really great to be on ground, and I am still so tickled to be able to take part in all this daily normal activities!



So yea.. days prior to NYE, am going to work out my goals for 2012!

Detox and the Colon Hydrotherapy

Liver & Gallblader Flush, session II - Completed! Just in time for X'mas and NYE!

I am very happy with the results, I can't wait to complete all 6 sessions!

So the centre where I had my colonics done in KL today to wrap up my whole detox session turned out to be pretty impressive, except for the fact that I had to do the tube insertion myself!

Oh, and I was excited to learn too that even Anthony Robbins himself has been to this place!

OK, so back to X'mas!

It's great to be able to spend some time with mum, and we have successfully completed our X'mas presents list- just two more which we are shopping for tomorrow!


Sugar was really eager to help us out with the wrapping!

Anyways, back to giving thanks. About a year ago, perhaps even more, I met Clift, who is from LA. Then, he was migrating to Taipei to start off his MLM business. Over a cuppa Starbucks, we decided to keep in touch and have, ever since. I have always enjoyed my chats with him, as I found him very inspiring, very determined. And, yes, with such a personality, he did acquire success in Taipei. Of course, put aside that he already has quite an impressive base back in LA to support him. Fast forward to present day, his gf has just passed away, and he is now mourning in Kenya. This sad news really affected me because it just highlights how fragile and short life is. So while we are still here, let's dream big, and let live.


And yes, give thanks to the many phenomenal blessings and amazing memories:
