minus one

ok so maybe not all's rosy.
I am feeling a little down for no good reason. OR maybe THERE IS a reason.
the main part of me being sad at the moment is i miss my saturdays back home in KL. I miss waking up to the pitter-patter of my sugarbun and muffin running up the stairs and jumping on my pillow just to check if I am awake.
I miss hearing mum and lin's loud conversations in the hall downstairs. I miss just being able to do what I want, with no schedule constraint.
I miss my shopping escapades in curve with sam, or one u and even bangsar.
I miss mum yelling at me for no good reason.
I miss finding sugarbun's poo poo on pa's expensive carpet.. or finding that bun has also pee-ed just on the OTHER expensive carpet of poor daddy.
I miss my english muffin from ss15 starbucks-hell I even miss the uncle from that sushi store that opens till 2.30 am @ asia cafe.
I miss just coming home to loud barks and licks, scratches and finding wet noses sniffling thru my shopping bags.
I miss my channel E!
I miss mum and i miss lin annoying me with her questions, and us fighting over dresses and room space.
I miss being able to just pick up the phone and pestering ben to meet up.
I miss just lazing the whole day in bed.
I miss rushing like a mad person meeting you guys back home, going places and doing just nothing but shopping and gossiping.
I miss muffin annoying me to play ball with her.
I miss yelling at boy after finding that he's been trying to scare sugarbun by putting her in the fridge
- or for hiding muffin's ball.
i miss my bumming ard sessions with keh and ben.

I miss my car, and even that annoying foreign worker who works at that shell ss15 petrol pump who just pesters me all the time.
I miss my seapark tong sui.
I miss dad's loud voice.
I miss sleeping with sugarbun on my head and muffin on my stomach!
I miss having family dinner -complete with dad from jkt and boy back frm bris
i miss my night outs with the bangkok group :)


SO there. I am human after all, and no amount of travelling around the world, or having gorgeous big master bed room, or shopping or partying in Singapore, or earning lots money , painted nails, is ever going to take away from what is always in my heart- HOME and you guys back home. you know who you are.

Bahh all this can wait. At the moment Sam and I are more excited deciding what to wear to our animal-themed house warming party this wed!

Turns out that my new red shoe does bite!

I just got back from Adelaide last night, and hooray hooray, I've an off day today! woot!

So Adelaide's fun, love the weather. It's small enough to be cosy, and big enough to have shops for us to indulge in!We arrived early in the morning, bout 7-8 ish, and after checking in and an hour worth of sleep- I was well charged up to go sight seeing around the city!!

Some shops.. actually come to think of it most shops were having their off-season summer sale; which suits me just fine really since Singapore 's always in summer mode. I was quite happy to find two dresses , very cheap! :)

last minute post

so i am packing for adelaide tonight.. and I cant quite decide if i should pack my red pointy flats, or my black peep-toe heels. Hmmm. The red ones are new though so I cant quite tell if it will bite.

Hmm, should I bring an overcoat plus a jacket, or just a dress under my coat? decisions decisions decisions. stockings or no?
Adelaide's Weather forecasts for the next two days: min 5-7 degrees, max 15-17 degrees, rain/cloudy .
yaiks! thank god i bought my cute black umbrella (paraplu) last few weeks. pheww!

Sam -my partner in crime is being very productive at this very minute; enthusiastically 'studying' for our trip-
'Adelaide is the best city in South Australia for shopping' she says-- woooot! that means we are going to run down to the money changer in a bit to buy more Aussie dollars!!

So have a great sunday and a fab week ahead guys--the good thing about the dreaded approaching monday is that you'll be one day closer to FRIDAY! hehe.

1) crazy drivers

2) lots of buildings

3)looks like kl

4) haze!!!

5)cheap food !

6) is a shopping haven (big grin*)

7) has no postcards (and no cute guys !)

8) a lot of taxis -and its drivers are on par with our formula one racers!!! : )

9) is really HOT this time of the year

10) has got CHEAP bed sheets!!!!!!


I am back from Shanghai, been spending my two off days doing nothing but reading , sleeping and eating.

I am still exhausted.

I am going to Adelaide tomorrow night!!!

shanghai here we comeeee!

so i've just painted my nails , and am waiting for it to dry (please please no smudges!!).. except only to find that i DESPERATELY need to pee at the moment. agh.
Sam and I are going to Shanghai tomorrow!!!!! I am super excited , terribly nervous, and excited, and .. anxious.. I think I am going to put what I have learnt many years ago as an exchange student: to not have any expectations, and to just go as I am.

The Aukeses are taking in another exchange student this year! Erika, from Venezuela, and she's coming this friday!
