Project Aqua-month 2

Month 2, and the troop is getting bigger. The colors of the harlequins are really starting to show- such a beautiful mix of purple and orange.

The cherries too are getting brighter, I think it's from the spirulina I am feeding them. I just dropped by Gian's place to feed the guys their weekly gourmet worms.

The only thing are the tetras- they are pretty shy, so they pretty much give way to the rest before they start feeding on the worms. Guess its the nature's way of preventing over-crowding; the survival of the fittest at its best!

Ok, back home to shower, rest and head out for a kick-ass fri night!!!

The Biggest Grocery Bag ever

So last night I was the designated chef. The hot item on the dinner menu was Conchiglie tricolore con funghi. In return, I got cris to get the groceries while I was still at work, since he gets off at 5.30.

8.40 pm he comes trudging through the door, with a big bag of groceries. Seems like he bought enough for a whole month!

And how did the pasta turn out?

It was superbly delectable!

Easter, Sunday

Why can't easter be a public holiday in Singapore?

It should be, shouldn't it?

Anyways, Sunday and am bumming in front of the tv with Cris, watching Battle Los Angeles. Said it before, and I'll say it again, THANK GOD FOR HOUSEMATES!

Finally, after a week of MIA, mum appeared on the scene again, chatty as always, happily recounting her time spent in Penang. How I miss home and everyone, I can't wait to go home next weekend!!

I am pretty happy with myself today - I woke up early, albeit weak from the liver flush, but I jumped out of bed seeing it was such a nice sunny day. I quickly showered, got dressed and made a beeline for the pool, book in hand. Then, I came home to have lunch with Cris, do my laundry, and I went over to Gian's place to check up on the little troop.

Sunday's menu for them is always a plate of frozen worms, so I just couldn't let them miss it. Gosh, how they've grown. From being just a little speck in the aquarium, I can now see their gills, fins, etc! We are very proud of the fishes!

I even managed to work-out :  I climbed 21 flight of stairs. OOOhhh, the perks of waking up early, the day sure does feels longer!

Detox month 6

It's my 6th cleanse, and I couldn't be more happier to have embarked on this.
Sure, it's demanding. I have been fasting for a day now, and boy, i am hungry.
But this is a MUST do, and I am determined to look after my body the best way I can.
So, I went for my colonics this morning, and in a couple of minutes I am going to do the liver flush. Boy oh boy, time fly faster please, I can't wait for lunch tomorrow!

Due Settimana, molto bene!

How time flies!

I am hanging out in the living room right now with Cris who has just broken up.   In an hour, we would be having our house viewing, and I am excited to see who is going to move in with us. I am a bit sad N and S is moving out, but hey, they are just moving to the block next to us, so we can all still hang out!

Anyways, so I am looking at my photos with Paula when she was here the past two weeks. It was tremendous fun to take her around, and I think Gian is pretty impressed that I picked up the little bits of Italian over a short span of time. Operation Italian,, pretty successful.Woo!

Good Friday

So it's Good Friday today, and I woke up to a kick-ass sunny day. What more better to do, than to go for a kick-ass run at the park.

A good one too, it turned out, and I decided to head out to the pool since it was still early.

It's always wonderful to be on a break! Gian and Paula left for Doha-Rome last night, so I've two weeks to fly solo!

Weee!

First of April Sunday

Listening to John Mayer's gravity while getting ready to go out for lunch on such a sunny Sunday, rocks!
