I got home from Zurich, in time to receive darlin kit mey's text :
'babe! dinner tonight?' -or something to that effect.
After 13 hours of flight, it was something that I can't say no to (a disorder I have, diagnosed by cynthia as 'the Muffin's ultra-hyper disease' more on that later) , so three hours later, we met at Orchard mrt.
We decided on dinner (why.. Japanese , of course! ) and a movie date with Keanu Reeves. I was looking forward to watching 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' :
It looked good- and you can never go wrong with movies with Keanu Reeves in it; I mean- think The Lake House, or Speed , The Matrix, Sweet November, A Walk in the Clouds (which btw, is a seriously romantic movie, a must-watch if you haven't already) - RIGHT???
Wrong. Horribly wrong.
Stay away from "The Day the Earth Stood Still'- except of course if you 're willing to part with $SGD 10 to just sleep in the cinema , or to munch on nachos in the dark (which come to think of it, that's actually quite fun, and yummy too!).
But oh wait- it's not even showing anymore at the cinemas, whopeee!(note: Don't even think of buying the DVD or VCD version of it , for that matter- go spend it on ice cream, trust me; that's better)
ohhhhh kitmey!!!! waitin for you to come back from Kl, let's take Ji ren out and celebrate his bday!! :)
