Weekend

I logged in today, wanting to kill time while on the MRT ride home to Tampines from dinner with J, my colleague, in Bedok.

I found myself soon browsing thru my old entries, and I must say, it was melancholic to read thru my memories with the girls from flying days. Damn, I miss you girls! It gave me a warm feeling to read about my entries written alone in my hotel room, in strange hotels, and countries. It brought back so many happy memories!

This is why writing is so important. It keeps the memories alive. To remember the routes taken, the lessons learnt, the tears spilled, the laughter shared. Oh, yes too; the money spent.

I started this blog 2 and a half years ago, to let mum read actually about my life as an air stewardess. To let you, mum, follow me on my travels across the world. Indeed, it has served its purpose, and I am sure mum, you have found it quite an amusement.

So now, this blog follows me into the next stage of my life.

My new life on ground. Not neccessarily better, or bigger, or grander, but well, just the next phase of life. We all need to step up eventually, no, to different levels and challenges. To explore other roads not taken, YET.

Today has been quite a day! I am proud of myself. We managed quite well , in S's absence, we did our very best! I learnt a bit more about PR today, and I feel so giddy and light headed about having learnt these new ropes! albeit just the tip of the iceberg!

Ok. Am being bitten alive by these darn singaporean mosquitos. Looks like the mosquitos here are just as kiasu as their fellow human countrymen.

Even on the 10th floor, in an air conditioned room, they're still here, on the forage, FOR MY BLOOD!!

Off to grab Vy's shelltox!!!!!!!
