amsterdam , winter 2010

I just got back from Amsterdam yesterday ,and it was freezing!



Nevertheless, above or below 0 degrees, it was still nice to be back in Amsterdam. Guess the place shall always be a part of me, though it's been 8 years since my year exchange there!! Did not get to meet up with the Aukeses, but Petra if you're reading this, Ik zal bij jullie komen in Maart/April, zeker weten! :)


I keep forgetting to bring my camera with me these days when I am at work; hence here are photos from my Iphone, not bad , huh? :)

popping corn

ever wanted to make cinema-like popcorn in the comforts of your own home?

well, i did.

So some weeks back, I bought this machine, much to his delight- and today, we decided to test-try our first batch before heading out to watch Legion .

it was dummy proof- just put in some oil, throw in the corn, count to twenty, and VOILA! Popping corn.

Not bad huh, for someone who forgets to water the plants!
